Are you a jack of all trades / hardware + software/ electronics?

Somadome is a fast-growth mindfulness company in the wellness space. We create the ‘space’ for people to connect to their higher self, and emerge better versions of themselves.

The dome integrates color + light with sound technology and energy healing to balance the mind/body + spirit.

Our domes are located across virtually every vertical from retail to spas to hotels to corporate offices to doctors’ clinics to high end resorts to schools to homes in 18 countries. We’ve been featured in hundreds of media outlets and are organically supported by tons of influencers.

Technical Support – This role requires you to be the primary point of contact for all technical support requests. You will be responsible for responding to, resolving, and
thoroughly documenting all support requests in a timely and professional manner. As we continue to grow and scale this will be of the utmost importance and we will rely on you to continually optimize our systems and processes around technical support to ensure
top quality customer service.

Field Installations and Field Tech Management – The Logistics Coordinator will have
full responsibility in the planning and execution of field installations per process flow and also the Field Technician Installation Checklist which will be the
standard held for all installations. The installation process begins by coordinating with
the salesperson (the salesperson is the main point of contact for the customer
throughout the shipping and installation process) to determine the date of installation.
From there you will be required to source a completed site survey, gain full clarity on
installation requirements (where in the building is the dome being placed, will it require disassembly, do you need to source lifting help, will the crate be delivered directly to the customer’s address or a nearby shipping terminal for pickup, etc), book appropriate
equipment (Uhaul’s, dollies, moving blankets, ratchet straps, etc.), coordinate the
shipment from warehouse, obtain approval to purchase air travel and overnight
accommodations (if required), and perform the installations if you are the technician assigned to the installation. If you’re managing another field technician for an
installation, you will be the lead and responsible for managing the entire process. Lastly,
this role will require you to train both new and established field technicians on all
required knowledge/skills/processes as the product evolves, processes improve, and
new field technicians are hired.

To give you a better idea of what the role involves, I’m sharing a brief overview of some of the tasks you’ll be handling:

Installation: Setting up new Somadomes involves unpacking, assembling components, and connecting them securely. You’ll ensure that the dome is fully functional and meets our quality standards.
Troubleshooting: Diagnosing and resolving any technical issues that arise, which could include software updates, hardware adjustments, or diagnosing connectivity issues.
Retrofits and Upgrades: Occasionally, you’ll need to update older units with new hardware and software, which requires careful disassembly, part replacement, and configuration.
Customer Training: In some cases, you’ll walk clients through the basic operations of their Somadome, ensuring they are comfortable with its features and functions.
